Russian surveillance spotted aircraft spotted in Alaska’s ADIZ – NORAD:
A number of Russian observation airplanes were spotted entering and working inside the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) a buffer zone outside the state’s airspace – over the past two days, the North American Aerospace Defense (NORAD) Command announced on Wednesday morning.

On two separate occasions, over the past 2 days, the Alaskan NORAD Region detected, tracked, and identified Russian surveillance aircraft entering and operating within the Alaskan ADIZ. The Russian aircraft did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace
